Blockchain in Education
This week the European Commission released a report with this heading.
The report was written primarily for policy makers, educational institutions, educational researchers, teachers and anyone from a non-technical audience who is interested in understanding blockchain and its potential in education.
The report sets out the social value proposition of blockchain technology by exploring : Self-Sovereignty and Identity; Trust; Transparency and Providence; Immutability; and Disintermediation.
The report highlights real world problems that are being solved by existing blockchain based projects. Three project in particular covered in the report are Civic, Uport and Indorse.
